The Halpat Adventure Run course is marked if anyone wants to pre-run the course. Basically you can park at the North most soccer field and run over to South River Outfitters go to the SE corner of his property then follow the orange flags, and ribbon to the FL trail follow that to the campground then out to the double track take a right then go .3 of a mile then another right back onto the FL trailk then back to the finish    turn right and then .3 of a mile take another right back onto to FL trail then back to the start. then back to the start. The whole course is marked with orange ribbon/flags the FL trail has less, so just follow the orange rectangular blazes on the trees. We'll have more signs and people on the course Sun. Our next event will be on Oct. 24th at JD State park. The Club scrub Scrambler, click here for all the details. 100% of profits go to Club Scrub, this will be a perfect warm up for the Leach on Nov. 13th, for Leach info go here.

We've been out at Halpat checking out the trail for the up coming run. The course is set and should be very fun, I counted 3 stream crossings 2 of which you can jump. The third is a really a steep ditch which used to have an old bridge across it, during the run you can either tight rope across the old bridge runners or you can go through the ditch which is about a foot deep right now!

We're thinking of putting on a 50K and 100K mountain bike race in Nov. and 10, 30, and 50K trail run in Dec. what do you guys think, would you come out?
